Welcome to the BLUE HAWGS Web page. The
team is comprised of 6 well mannered young men. A new season is upon us. The team hopes to
improve on last years' perfect 21-0 season. 4 titles in 4 cities leaves the BLUE HAWGS as
the dominant youth team on the WEST COAST in 4 on 4 flag football.
The team is coming
off a decent football season, having one player (Josh #2) still alive in the Southern
Section Division V Semi-finals, as JW North - Riverside upset the defending champion
Corona Centennial 35-28 in double OT to advance.
Brandon (#3) was
upset last week in the L.A. City section quarter finals as Westchester lost to Dorsey
20-14.
Leroy III (#1)
played JV for Bishop Amat. Leroy has seen the most growth over the year as he attempts to
catch up with the pack.
Anthony (#20) played
JV and Varsity for Hawthorne HS, and had some 15 rushing TD's this year.
Arrin (#12) had a
good season, scoring plenty of TD's. He attends Leuzinger HS
Jeffery (#5) took
the year off due to moving, but has possibly become the tallest Blue Hawg, and hopes to
become the starting QB for Rialto Eisenhower HS next year.
The team will now take that experience and apply it to a new challenge - The 2001 4 on 4
Quick Strike Tournament in Tempe, Arizona. This tour is presented by Fast Action
Sports. Your BLUE HAWGS will be competing in the 14 to 17 Youth Division, so wish us luck!
We hope to
participate in Tempe (12/1), San Diego (12/8), San Jose (12/29), and Los Angeles (1/12/01)
